Robert Jay “RJ” Bocook, 36, passed away Friday, September 9th, 2022 in Springfield, Missouri. A Celebration of RJ’s Life will be held at Potts Chapel in Caney, Kansas on Monday, September 19th at 2:00 pm.
RJ was born in Springfield, Ohio on November 13, 1985 to Loren and Barbara (Forrest) Bocook. RJ attended school at Labette County High School. After earning his diploma, RJ moved to the Springfield, Missouri area and began his construction career. Through the years RJ assisted in the construction of numerous homes around the Springfield area. He loved to work on cars, attend baseball games, listen to music, and build homes. RJ was a member of the High Life Church. RJ was very devoted to his community and wanted to help do all he could, whether it was lending hand building or volunteering for various community projects. In life RJ struggled with self-love but never failed to show the greatest love to others. RJ will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
RJ is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara A. Danielson.
