Stephanie Privitt, 43, was called home to glory, Friday, December 18, 2015, from her Caney Home, after a difficult battle with liver cancer.
Stephanie Ann Dunham was born June 27, 1972, in Coffeyville Kansas, the first of three children born to Bradley Martin Dunham and Phylllis Lee (Ross) Dunham. She was raised in Coffeyville, attending schools there, as well as Coffeyville College, completing her education with an associates degree in accounting.
On August 4, 1988, Stephanie married Mitchell Privitt at Miami, Oklahoma. Stephanie and Mitchell raised their three sons, Matthew Devin, Seth Mitchell, and Tyler Blaze, in the Coffeyville and Caney area.
Stephanie was employed as a cook for 21 years in Caney for the Red Maple/Caney Kitchen restaurant. She enjoyed her pets, collecting vintage items, talking with her friends & family on Facebook, and an occasional trip to the local area casinos.
She is survived by her husband, Mitchell, of the home, her three sons, four grandchildren, her mother, Phyllis Dunham, brother Chad Dunham and wife Julie, sister Megan McIntosh and husband Josh, numerous Uncles and Aunts, cousins, and a host of friends.
Graveside celebration of life service will be conducted 3:00pm, Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at the Havana Cemetery, with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Chaplain Mike Graham officiating. Visitation service will be Tuesday evening at the Potts Chapel Funeral Home, Caney, with the family present between 6-to-8 to greet guests and friends. The family requests memorial donations to the Stephanie Privitt Memorial Fund to help defray funeral expenses. Donations can be left at the funeral home.
