Sylvia Hill

Sylvia Hill, of Caney, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, KS. Graveside services will be held, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 1:00pm at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Caney, KS under the direction of Potts Chapel of Caney. Memorials are suggested to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and can be left with the funeral home.
Sylvia was born November 21, 1936 in Caney, KS. She was the daughter of Lewis and Letha Theiss. She grew up in Caney and graduated from Caney High School in 1955. She taught school for many years in Caney.
On March 30, 1961 Sylvia married Louie Hill, they had two sons. She was member of the Wayside Christian Church in Wayside, KS.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Louie and grandson Ryan Hill.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Ralph and wife Martha Hill of Topeka, KS and Don Hill of Caney, KS, grandson Stephen Hill of Olathe, KS, sister Lois and husband Tom Enton of Plano, TX, and brother Ed and wife Denise of Caney, KS.
